BIO: Art can be interpreted as an instrument that, in one way or another, allows us to transmit emotions, more or less profound, able to distract us, for a moment, making lose the touch with reality we know, made of thoughts, dreams, illusions that fill our minds and feed our imagination. With photography is possible take some moments of reality to expose them, share them, remember them...but...if the reality there was uncomfortable? If our imagination was more satisfying than what surrounds us and we only wanted to represent our way of seeing what we see every day? With photomanipulation you can transform that ordinary reality, recreating people, places, stories, feelings using as material elements of reality itself captured by photos. All this is what I try to express with my creations, often taking one’s cue from horror/dark/fantasy elements or themes, where characters, landscapes and emotions are influenced by what is the "reality of my imagination".
